Architecture + Shoes = Heavy Machine’s S/S 11 Collection

This avant-garde footwear brand from Taiwan, which has bloggers & the fashionati going gaga, is not only fun & (almost!) reasonably priced, their shoes are also knows to be highly functional (as in, you can get quite a few kilometers in them without the usual high-heel pain!).

What I love about Heavy Machine, other than their unique architectural aesthetic, is the fabulous use of color-blocking (how pertinent to Spring Summer 2011!) and their spectacular sinuous geometric heel structures, blending in perfectly with the uppers.
