So I took the sheep (white variety) route & decided to sport a Kate Middleton Duchess Catherine inspired fascinator to a friend's recent wedding. But in defense of my far-too-trendy-it's-no-longer headpiece, choosing to wear an orange dress, which is the least favourite of all colors after all, kinda balances things out. And yes, there was a study, but no, I don't remember the details!
One of the greatest things about this outfit other than the burst of color, is that aside from the purse & earrings, no damage to my wallet was made. No, of course, I didn't steal the rest! And even if I had, would I really admit it publicly? It's just that when you're lucky enough to work for a company who'd gift their design team with “tester” shoes, one remembers that life as a fashion designer ain't so bad! Remind me why other companies don't do this?!
But yes, many years have I worn these suede & leather purple pumps & even though a half size too small, they seem to find their way onto my feet every time I spin around on the dance floor! My mom's to thank for the dress she picked up from Selfridges on her visit to London & her hand-me-down belt from the 80s 🙂
