How I’m Styling my Green Adidas Gazelle Bold Sneakers for Spring/Summer

I've been wearing my Adidas Gazelle Bold sneakers (the platform Gazelles) since Spring and they add a perfect dose of trendy fun to any casual outfit! With the bold color, contrast stripes and gum sole, what's not to love?

Heck, you can even make them work for business casual outfits.

If you don't have or want the green versions of this fashion sneaker, my styling advice will apply to most, if not all, Adidas Bolds and platform sneakers in general!

16 Adidas Gazelle Bold Outfits for Spring/Summer

Below are 16 of my favorite casual and elevated Adidas Gazelle Bold outfit styled for the spring/summer. Styled and worn by your resident shoe stylist, me, Cristina 😉

1. Styled with Blue Jeans

Ok, so jeans and sneakers are a classic combo that can't be beat for casual outfits. You can tone down the green platforms with a basic white tee and wide leg, baggy jeans.

Or, balance the green sneakers out with an oversized green striped sweater and light straight leg jeans.

Now, for both outfits I added a fun printed, bag – one with green to match and the leopard tote to contrast. I style my outfits maximalist details, but if you prefer, reach for all brown–or my fave: all white accessories to make the 3 white stripes on the sneakers pop.

2. Styled with Colored Jeans

Play up the contrast of the shoes with a equally bright outfit or colorful jeans (or pants, really). I love pink with green, but that's just me!

For a more toned-down look, a white, beige or off-white pair of jeans like I'm wearing here allows the vibrant Adidas Gazelle bolds to stand out. Of course, in my maximalist fashion, I would throw on my leopard print trench for spring or cooler summer nights (as below).

You'll notice both these styled are wide legged jeans, one ankle and the other full length. I prefer a wider leg jean with platform sneakers or chunkier shoes as it balances out the sneakers.

However that doesn't mean that a straight leg style can't work.

3. Styled Casually with Patterned Pants

More wide leg pants with the platform sneakers, but more casual styles with some pattern and color. I chose a beachy look with a tropical print linen pant, and red linen tank.

I love how striped pants work well with the 3 stripes in the Adidas Gazelles, no matter the colors, for a little stipes on stripes. Of course, the brownish gum sole works well with similar brown/beige tonal colors.

4. Business Casual with Trousers

Yes, you can wear Adidas Gazelle Bold outfits with an elevated classic or linen pant and blazer or vest for a casual look. Even if they're green.

Depending on where you work, you might prefer to stick with a beige or black platform Adidas, but that's up to you!

The sneakers will break up the usual matching blazer or matching set and give it a casual feel for work on the office. I like to keep my handbags neutral.

5. Leggings + a Graphic Tee

I can't help myself; an oversized graphic tee with leggings-either short or long-look fantastic with my Adidas platforms!

You can keep things simple with a classic grey rock tee and black leggings or a have some fun with leopard print leggings and a tee with a bit of color.

Gen Z would be proud of me wearing slouchy crew socks with my sneakers! If you're thinking sneakers with a pair of Green Adidas Bolds, opt to match the shade of the shoe, or contrast with the white stripes of tan gun sole.

6. Dresses & Jumpsuits

I have a whole post on wearing dresses with sneakers, because they're a great combo. This spring/summer I'm loving a maxi slip dress as it will elevate the shoes.

It will also make you look taller, if that's what you're going for.

Throw on a graphic tee to make the pastel dress + green platform sneakers outfit more casual. Or, elevate it with a black slip dress and matching purse. Green tank layered underneath is optional!

A short t-shirt dress is ideal with these green Adidas Gazelles! You can stick to a neutral black/white dress, or have fun with a colorful graphic dress. Crew socks are optional 😉

Of course, a black jumpsuit will go with everything, especially a trendy one with a longer wide leg. Styled with a black bag + the height of the platform sneakers, it will elongate the body nicely.

7. Midi & Maxi Skirts

Adidas Gazelle Bold outfits with skirts work great. All skirt lengths pair well with platform sneakers, but for my age I prefer a longer skirt. And they happen to be trendy so why not?

I love the contrast between a soft, tiered summer maxi skirt and the platforms. Add a simple or graphic tee for a playful look.

We already know denim and leopard print looks great with the green sneakers, so a long leopard print skirt outfit with a denim jacket can't be beat and make the shoes pop.
