“The Mariner boot flaunts a chic lace-up style with a definitively sporty undertone. Don this buffed leather beauty with a skirt or frock, the better to show off the close silhouette, or try it with rolled pants or shorts and tights and play up its athletic energy. A zip-in entry makes for easy dressing, while an unexpectedly refined leather outsole will keep them guessing” – Endless.com
Oh, Endless. If this Dolce Vita ankle boot wasn't painful enough, the grammatically bizarre description of it would make any sighted, English-speaking shoe lover cringe. Unless I want to look like a certain famous 14 year-old fashion blogger, no! I will not pair this painted buffed “beauty” with a skirt or frock. Or any apparel product for that matter. Nor will I wear them naked! Unless of course, I'm priming my walls (which I will most likely do clothed, thank you very much).
That said, the outsole heel paint daub detail is pretty freaking cool.
Thoughts?
