I usually don't disparage creative shoe minds such as Nicholas Kirkwood. I'm usually in awe of their breathtaking shapes & colors. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for this cacophonous, aggressive creation. It just looks angry! Has the work-load been too intense for him? Or has he simply gone mad?
The toe & the bordeaux to black gradient I can appreciate, but the seemingly dislocated heel & the towering beaded nonsense I just cannot. Oh…that heel 🙁 Looks like it's gonna snap right off…
PETA will surely be all over this pony!
That is all.

I am a fan of Nicolas Kirkwood because of his ability to turn a shoe into an architectural sculpture. But this has too many variations of structure and isn't appealing to the eye nor the heart.

I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but you hit the nail right on its head for sure! Too many variations of structure is definitely not aesthetically pleasing :(
