This “Erskine” shoe by Degen reminds me of a recycled-fabric-meets-crochet footwear experiment gone terribly wrong. You know, something you'd likely come across on Regretsy, rather than find on sale at an online retailer. I guess it's time for me to create a Freak-Shoe Friday subcategory called “footwear crafts gone wrong”. In the $500 dollar range, no less.
I'm just confused as to how the black & white tube laces, tweet fabric, blah brown suede upper with a pixelated camo flatform aesthetically combine onto a Camilla Skovgaard-like outsole. The orange yarn loops are to me the most puzzling. DIY WTF much?!
Strangely enough, this design has yet to sell out at Solestruck & is available in all sizes. I know. Shocking.
That is all.
