I love the color that is coral & particularly love coral shoes. It’s more subtle than red & more palatable than orange, but most of all, it’s an original, versatile hue that will compliment a slew of outfits & occasional (especially in pump form!) as well as virtually every skin tone. So here's one take on coral fashion styling!

Coral Heels – Outfit with Black & White Polka Dots

You might recognize these coral heels from the post I wrote about Ukies‘ collection of stylish comfortable heels. I not only fell in love with the design, texture & comfort factor, but it's the phenomenal coral color is what first drew me to them. I now firmly believe every woman should have a pair of coral footwear in her shoe closet, no matter if they're high heels, flats or even rain boots!

Wearing colorful shoes has become a bit of a way of life for me & I’m a fan of pairing them in many ways. But I do have a particular fondness for black & white. I figured these coral pumps would work best for Spring/Summer with a hefty dose of white & a touch of black. I have to admit that I was mostly swayed to style them this way because of these new white stretchy distressed jeans. I recently took a chance on this “1969 Resolution” white pair from Gap (they're presently on sale btw!) & was amazed by the fit.

I’m not pin-thin, yet these high waisted, slim pants hug every curve perfectly & have a magical flattering effect (because we all know how unflattering white {and tight!} pants can usually be!). I read some reviews on the Gap’s site about these jeans being somewhat see through & they can be (underthings dependent lol!). But they’re the perfect weight for the Summer & have become my go-to pants of the season. I'm thinking I should buy a few more pairs to keep me stocked for a while! If these came in black I’d scoop them up right away (and would still look great with these bright shoes!!).

Comfortable shoes + soft pants make for an incredibly cosy outfit 🙂
