It's pink shoes month! You know, it being October & the month to think pink again?! And as I do think with my feet, I've taken out my vibrant fuchsia heels out to play for fall, as a token to Breast Cancer Awareness. These are serious attention grabbing heels, here in Toronto! I love pink, especially pink heels, but it's often a bit of a trying color to style, especially when dealing with the hot pink variety. In these cases keeping such strong statement hues as a simple pop in your look is often the best way to go.

Fashion loafers (vs. the traditional “penny” variety) are once again a trendy shoe item for Fall and I've been lucking out for the past few seasons with these black vintage Sergio Rossi slippers. Yes, they are astrology-themed & although I'm a Sagittarius myself, the gold graphic is based on the Leo sign. Makes me wonder if they created them for each astrological sign, or if Leo (“Leone” in Italian) is based on Sergio Rossi's birth date?

I bought this bandana dress from Gap as an easy throw-on piece in which to run errands or take my kid to the park. Paisley print & multifaceted chambray texture are perfect for masking stains, spills & the like. I'm messy & clumsy, so this tends to be an important element in my wardrobe choices (ever wonder why I wear so many prints & prints-on-prints!?).
