These Nicholas Kirkwood (again, you read correctly!) designed Spring 2012 shoes for Meadham Kirchhoff's collection don't anger or sadden me, but rather make me giggle like a school girl! Very Japanese LOLita (sorry!) fashion-like, with all the bells (pom-poms) & whistles (glitter & shine), one cannot deny the festive & bizarro nature of this happy-go-lucky flatform. Yes, a freak of a shoe it is, but in all it's adorned, wacky-tacky glory (and a nudge to the good ‘ol layer cake!) what's not to be amused with here?
Just don't ask me to wear 'em!
