Nothing like a few new pairs of high heels to put someone in a good mood! Well, me for sure 😉 If you didn't already know, I started a YouTube channel a few weeks ago & thought I'd headline with my latest shoe unboxing right here, on ze blog. Featuring: 3 brand new personal faves from Nine West Canada's Spring 2016 collection, a little about why I love this brand & my clear inability to speak in grammatically correct sentences while looking at a camera.

2. Their styles are sturdy, durable AND actually affordable shoes (& their sales rock too!)
3. They fit my narrow feet perfectly. A definite rarity, as high end designers are usually the only ones that cater to my foot type in similar designs

3 New Nine West Heels for Spring 2016

#1: Tatiana Leather Pumps with Black & White Triangle Print

I'm just a huge fan of black and white shoes, so these are a no brainer for me. The print is small enough to be worn even in the most conservative work environments, but bold enough to make a statement. I mean, black & white heels have that effect!

The upper material is just flawless & these will look fabulous with a white, black or very colorful outfit. A bit of styling inspo, below:

I have a pair of Tatiana pumps in plain black suede & I fit the 7.5 just fine. These ones fit snug at that same shoe size, probably due to the different upper material. So go up a half size. Worth noting that these have 4″ heels (my high heel cap – yes, pun sort of intended!) yet are well padded under the feet to allow for a comfortable strut!

#2: Martina Patent Pumps with Black Swirly Floral Graphic

Now I have a Martina pump with a print! With its pale blush base & black graphic swirl pattern, accentuated by the patent shine, this shoe is bound to stand out.

With a lower heel than the above Tatiana, the Martina heel is my favorite go-to pump from Nine West Canada, because of more than just its beautiful shape. The heels look much higher, but Martinas stand at “only” 3.5 inches & have a lovely padded foot bed, making them easy to walk in. These ones fit perfectly to Nine West sizing (meaning one half size down for me!).

#3: HowRude Strappy Mirror Metallic Sandals

Which brings me to my final pair and oh, my am I ever ridiculously obsessed with these strappy happy heels! I posted them as one of my top choices from the Nine West Canada Spring 2016 preview and now they are ALL MINE!!!

These are nothing less than extraordinary! It's hard to capture their magnificence anywhere other than in person, but I tried my best in the video & pics. They look very high end & sleek. And SO shiny!

They actually remind me of these Rupert Sanderson for Antonio Berardi sandals (I swooned about them here), but also reminiscent of Jimmy Choo's “Booster” Sandal (I also blogged about these ones here). And my history of loving metallic buckled sandals is likely why I am so in love these mirror metallic “Howrude” heels so much!

They fit my slim feet extremely well & love how the straps are adjustable (no, the buckles aren't fake!). These are also perfectly true to Nine West sizing. I mentioned in the unboxing video that I wasn't sure if I could walk in these. The verdict?

From walking around in these at home, I've had no issues even though they have towering (for me!) 4.5″ heels. Buuuut, the half inch platform helps relieve some of the height & the ball of foot is padded slightly to make them more comfy. I'll have to come back & update this section as soon as I've taken these puppies out for an actual spin out in the great Toronto outdoors!
