I'm not entirely sure why, but I find these Camilla Skovgaard boots insulting. This could possibly be due to their peep-toe (really all that necessary when you've gone to great lengths to cover it all up?), or perhaps because it's not her most enchanting creation & we all know that she can do much, much better.
One thing that lots of Freak-Shoe Friday shoes have in common is their costume-like appearance. I'm not sure what these boots could help disguise oneself as, but it would definitely be something ominous & Halloweenesque. Like the Grim Reaper?
$925 at Luisaviaroma.com if you're so inclined. Then again, the 31st of October is almost around the corner!
That is all.

The first thing I thought when I saw them was Frankenstein. I agree, she has some designs that I highly favor, this is not one of them.
